Fresh Farm Delivery

Apr 8 2008, 3:53 PM EDT We've been getting deliveries for several months and have been very impressed with the quality of the produce. Throughout the winter most of the items were imported (hard to get locally-grown bananas in February) but they try very hard to support local growers as often as possible. We've really enjoyed trying new recipes with the items that we receive, and they provide suggestions each week as well. Our family (two adults and a toddler) gets the smallest bin, and we've found that it's just about right for a week's worth of fruits and veggies (with a few supplements from the grocery store). We'd love to see them add some additional meat and egg suppliers, but in the meantime, we've been very happy with their service. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 14 2008, 11:48 PM EDT We've been getting deliveries for almost a year. Orginally every other week and now every week. I really like the ability to change what they pick each week in case you don't like one of the items, or add to the basic order. Now that it is summer more of the delivery is local. The fall is the best time when all sort of local produce comes that you can't find in any grocery store. Between FarmFresh and Apple Family Farms we can eat very local. We're alos trying to avoid chain resturnats if you wnat another challenge. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
