History: Begun by the Sisters of St. Francis (Oldenburg) in 1991.

Mission: Michaela Farm, embodying the Franciscan spirit, nurtures sustainable relationships among land, plants, animals and humans, and utilizes farm resources to fulfill its goals.

Results: Provide 10-15% of food to the Motherhouse, helped establish the Food and Growers Association of Laughery Valley (markets for local farmers), offer farm fresh CSA programs, education and spirituality programs.
