History: The land on which the Cope Environmental Center stands was purchased by Jim and Helen Cope in 1948. For its history, click here.
Mission: To promote the sustainable use of the earth's resources through education, demonstration and research. Their vision is to inspire and challenge individuals and communities to achieve ecologically sustainable lifestyles to secure a sustainable future for all life on earth.
